What is Occupational Therapy?
In the eyes of an Occupational Therapist, everything you do is considered an occupation.
Occupational Therapists are trained in;
- Assessing and analyzing how you are currently doing a task.
- Recommending methods to adapt how the task is done.
- Identify aids and equipment which can make the task more manageable.
- Offer solutions to modify your environment so that your functional needs are accommodated.

About your Occupational Therapist
Sarah Lindsay- Occupational Therapist
Sarah has been fortunate enough to call Margaret River home after moving down in 1991 as a young child. She completed both primary and high school education in the area before leaving to complete university education in Perth.
Sarah graduated with a master's degree in occupational therapy from Curtin University. She started her career working in the hospital system and within community rehabilitation, where she found her passion for working with older adults. Since then, Sarah has worked extensively in residential aged care and in the community for home care packages. She has also worked with people living with progressive neurological conditions under the WA-NDIS funding system.
On her days off, Sarah spends time with her partner, her loved ones and enjoying every aspect of living in the southwest. Sarah lives an active lifestyle and also loves surfing with her friends, you will often hear her laugh from the beach before you spot her in the water.
Sarah loves being an Occupational Therapist and is passionate about providing a quality service to the southwest community that she calls home.
